Key Cover Insurance

Key Insurance will pay up to £500.00 annual cover for locksmiths' charges, new locks and keys. The re-programming of immobilisers, infra-red handsets and alarms which are attached to the Fob but are not integral to an insured key. In addition up to 3 days car hire is available or onwards transport costs if you are stranded or your car is unusable as a result of lost, stolen or broken keys.

The price was competitive but the main reasons for taking this insurance was the free transfer of policy to another car and it was the only one to offer a 5 year policy

User friendly website and easy to navigate. My husband wanted to ask few questions before taking out the policy so called customer service and spoke to a really nice and friendly gentleman on phone who clarified everything for us and we made the decision to buy 5 year policy for my brand new car. I would hope my car is never written off but if it happens then I would expect direct gap to provide same 5 star customer service :)

I tried a few companies via comparison sites but what persuaded me was that your initial quote was very fair. A couple of others were more expensive and less than a week after getting a quote I was offered £40 discount which said to me that that was the price they should have offered in the first place. So although I could have got it a little cheaper I was satisfied to know that I had received an honest price at the very beginnining. Also, I was very happy with the way my enquiry and consequential purchase was handled.
