You were the only provider that stated clearly up-front that customers can defer the start of the policy for a year without extra charge, and that the value of the car covered included all factory fitted and dealer supplied extras, Road Fund Licence, delivery charges, paint protection applications i.e. the full invoice cost.

Direct Gap does NOT have a "wilful negligence" clause like other gap insurers. Other gap insurers will use this clause to get out of paying your money. I went with Direct Gap because I'm confident they would deliver what I paid for in the event of a write off. Be sure to check the policy terms on your gap insurance before you buy! "Wiflful negligence" is a get out clause for the more criminal insurers out there.

Very simple process in setting up this policy which I hope I will never have to use. Considerably cheaper than that offered to me by the main dealer for the same cover.

The website was really easy to use. The product is great value and I particularly like the fact that it can get cover for 5 years most others are only for 3 years. Before buying the car I obtained a quote and rang the call centre to ask some questions. The call centre advisor was really helpful and answered all my questions.
