  • Return to Invoice GAP insurance: After a simple google search and comparison with two others I concluded I need look no further. I obtained automated emailed quotations for 2yr, 3yr & 4yr durations and then scrutinised the IPiD to understand the limitations that might apply. Having regard to cost and likely duration I pressed the less obvious 'Buy this return to invoice policy' orange button in the email and proceeded with the policy for two years which fitted with my needs. This was actually an insurance policy I never knew I needed and the nominal sum of £89 for the two year policy made the decision quite an easy one. I certainly wouldn't buy a vehicle without the £comfort of such a policy and long may Direct Gap be the insurer of choice for me. The likelihood of a claim under the Policy is marginal but that's insurance for you: NOT 'when' ... MORE 'if'.
