Started off just by getting the 14 day free GAP insurance whilst I had a look around for prices etc. Ended up taking a 3 year policy here - nice and simple, best price (about a third of the dealer quoted cost), no hard sell, nice website, can't fault anything really.

Easy to apply for and competitive rates. Great that you can defer start date as ins co usually covers new replacement in fist year should you be unlucky to have to claim.

So easy to set up and less than half the price than the dealer with better cover!!!

Good value policy. Upfront details are clear and can defer start date by 12 months which is ideal if you have new for old cover for the first year by your normal insurance company. Cover includes all extras as per purchase invoice. I was quoted £399.00 by the dealer for RTI insurance for 3 years cover but with Direct Gap I have New Car Cover for 4 years with a deferred start date in 12 months time so the car is covered until it is 5 years old for £229.00.
