Direct Gap was £140.00 cheaper than the GAP offered by the dealership?

Excellent experience all round. Bought policy online, but needed some help, so called the free phone number and within 2 minutes my question was answered. I bought from direct GAP because of their reviews and the FSA register, also because their price was £138, the dealer were going to charge me £399 for the same product.

The policy could be deferred for 12 months and cost was much less than quoted by main dealer.

I tried a few companies via comparison sites but what persuaded me was that your initial quote was very fair. A couple of others were more expensive and less than a week after getting a quote I was offered £40 discount which said to me that that was the price they should have offered in the first place. So although I could have got it a little cheaper I was satisfied to know that I had received an honest price at the very beginnining. Also, I was very happy with the way my enquiry and consequential purchase was handled.
